Perdue Refined Oils is located in Salisbury, MD. We began refining vegetable oils in 1985, beginning with soybean oil. Through the years, we have expanded into other oils, including palm oil and other trait-enhanced oils such as low-linolenic soybean oils.
We produce refined oils for both food and non-food use. We serve major food manufacturers in several industry segments, including snack foods, baking, dressings and sauces, and confectionery. Our technical team will work with you to develop the best solution for your food processing application at a competitive cost.
Perdue Refined Oils also provides feedstock for many non-food applications, including methyl esters (biodiesel), lubricants, personal care products, and cosmetics.
Perdue refined oils are available in both truck and rail car quantities, and we maintain a dedicated fleet of both rail tank cars and trucks dispatched by our experienced logistics staff.
Quality and Sustainability
We know that you depend on us for solutions that help you succeed. Perdue Grain & Oilseed strives to deliver quality products and services to you on time, every time. Perdue Grain & Oilseed participates in the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is certified under the British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards. We provide product customization to meet individual needs as supported by both our production facilities being Kosher certified to Orthodox Union (OU) standards.
Perdue Grain & Oilseed, has joined the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) in promoting the growth and use of sustainable palm oil. As a refiner of edible oils, Perdue Grain & Oilseed is in a unique position to promote sustainable palm oil with our suppliers and our customers. As with our fellow RSPO members, we recognize that production and use of palm oil must be done in a manner that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.
While there is great awareness of the environmental, economic and cultural pressures created by the world’s demand for palm oil, the current supply of certified sustainable palm is very small. We are committed to working with our suppliers to increase the availability of sustainable palm oil, and promoting that to our customers. Perdue Grain & Oilseed is also working with the RSPO to certify our supply chain so that our customers can be confident that we are working toward the increased use of sustainable palm oil.
